Interesting - things need to change to keep people's attention

[Emergence Marketing] Seth Godin has an interesting observation on his blog (here) - things need to change to keep people's attention. Using the example of a clock under a bank's billboard and the available memory message on GMail - he observes that companies send email to customers more often than they change - thus training their prospects and customers to tune out their messages.

[BookAngst 101] Max for a Day: Rant this Space: And so I thought it might be interesting to open up the gates a little--to give you (Dear Reader) not just a chance to vent but also to bask in the glory that comes with being a part of the glamorous blogging community at this particularly glamorous moment in time. Think of it (as I do) like being Super Hero for a day--the chance don the brightly-colored cape & costume, and to demonstrate to all the world the full range of your genius [sic], your keen insights, your ability to take a bullet for the good of human-kind. Sure, there's the risk of public humiliation--on the other hand, what if you emerge from the experience not just alive but with a broader, stronger sense of your own self-worth?
[weissblog:] My life's story. Well, part of it anyway: It was a fellow I had talked to in 98 and I had told him that I build webpages. It was now Autumn of 99 and he had come across the email address I had given him. That email eventually lead to me moving again, and a full time job working on arcade games and jukeboxes. This was around Spring of 2000.
Jam 11 teng mulai, rasanya nggak susah-susah amat. Tapi Thin [Vietnamese] dan Muti [Myanmar] cuman bisa senyum-senyum.
